The seventh and final season of "Young Sheldon" is here.
Thepopular "Big Bang Theory" spinoff series centers on a younger version of Jim Parsons' character, Sheldon Cooper, and his Texas upbringing.
CBS announced in November the seventh season would be the show's final one, with a one-hour series finale scheduled to air on May 16.
"As a prequel to one of the biggest comedies, 'Young Sheldon' proved lightning can strike twice," Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, said in a statement in November 2023. "We look forward to seeing their final season unfold and giving it a proper sendoff with the best episodes yet for their fans to enjoy."
Here's what to know about the cast of Season 7 of "Young Sheldon", plus how you can watch new episodes of the show.
'Young Sheldon' Season 7:Premiere date, time, where to watch and stream new episodes
Iain Armitage as Sheldon Cooper
CBS dubs Sheldon Cooper is a "once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science, which isn't always helpful in a land where church and football are king."
"While the vulnerable, gifted and somewhat naïve Sheldon deals with the world, his very normal family must find a way to deal with him," according to CBS' character description.
Armitage, 15, has risen to fame through "Young Sheldon", but has also been cast in the popular show "Big Little Lies" and 2021 film "PAW Patrol: The Movie".
Zoe Perry as Mary Cooper
Zoe Perry portrays a younger version of Sheldon's mother, Mary Cooper, a role Perry's mother played in "The Big Bang Theory."
Perry has also appeared in episodes of "Scandal" and "The Family".
Lance Barber as George Cooper, Sr.
According to CBS, George "is struggling to find his way as a high school football coach and as father to a boy he doesn't understand."
Barber, 50, has appeared in dozens of roles in more than two decades of acting, including "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and "The Comeback".
Annie Potts as Connie 'Meemaw' Tucker
Meemaw is Sheldon's "foul-mouthed, hard-drinking Texas grandmother who is very supportive of her grandson and his unique gifts," according to CBS' description.
You may also know the 71-year-old Potts from popular movies like "Ghostbusters", "Pretty in Pink", and more recently "Toy Story 4".
Raegan Revord as Missy Cooper
Missy, Sheldon's twin sister, "sometimes resents all the attention Sheldon gets, but also remains the one person who can reliably tell Sheldon the truth," according to CBS.
Revord appeared on hit sitcom "Modern Family", as well as Netflix show "Grace and Frankie".
Montana Jordan as Georgie Cooper
Georgie, Sheldon's older brother, "does the best he can in high school, but it's tough to be cool when you're in the same classes with your odd younger brother," reads CBS' description of him.
Emily Osment as Mandy McAllister
Mandy is introduced in Season 5 of "Young Sheldon," when she meets Georgie and later becomes pregnant with his baby.
Osment is widely known for her role on hit Disney Channel show "Hannah Montana" after appearing in "Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams".
